Collection of Keys

Keys are available from our office located at 1389 Murradoc Road, St Leonards. Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm; Saturday 9.00am-4.00pm, Sunday 10.00am-1.00pm.

Property Inspections

We recommend tenants choose the holiday property carefully from the internet as LJ Hooker St Leonards will not be held responsible if the property does not meet your expectations. LJ Hooker St Leonards is not responsible to provide additional heating services to holiday rental properties than what is already provided within the home.

Things to Bring

Tenant are to supply linen (top & bottom sheets, pillowcases, bath towels & mats) tea towels for kitchen, toilet paper, dishwashing liquids/tablets and all pantry requirements. Whilst some holiday rental properties may have small quantities for your arrival, it is expected that you will bring all supplies for the length of your holiday stay.


Please ensure you check if your home is specifically stated as ‘PET FRIENDLY’ only some of our holiday rentals are pet friendly guest must ensure they are booking the correct accommodation if bringing along a pet. It is a breach of the terms and conditions to bring a pet along to a home that is not pet friendly and any pets found to on the premises when not authorised with a booking consultant will result in the termination of your booking and additional cleaning charges will be charged to your credit card without further notice. Pet Friendly Accommodation l/we agree to the additional terms and conditions outlined in the Paw Provisions provided with your welcome pack. The agency/owners are not responsible for the confinement of your pet.

Maximum Accommodation

The maximum number of people staying at the holiday rental properties must not be more than is specified as the maximum number of guests per holiday home. The landlord/agent observes the right to terminate the tenancy should this not be observed. Guests are not permitted to bring additional bedding or tents.


All breakages/damages caused at the property or damages to fittings, fixtures and furniture must be reported to the office immediately and the owner reserves the right to seek compensation for the same. Failure to comply with this condition will result in a debit to your credit card for cost/expenses without further notice.


For the purpose of conducting any repairs, service or maintenance deemed necessary for the property/owner arranged by the agency I/we agree to permit entry for these reasons.


A 50% deposit of the total rent is due within 7 days of the booking or payment by arrangement with holiday rental booking consultant. The balance is due 2 weeks prior to arrival except for Christmas where balance payments must be paid by the 1st December.


In the event that a cancellation is made the deposit will only be refunded if the property is re-let (less 20% booking fee). The property owners reserve the right to cancel any holiday accommodation booking at any time and in such event all reasonable efforts will be made to offer you alternative accommodation but without liability.


No provisions can or will be made for relocation. Tenants must accept premises ‘As booked’ and cannot relocate.

Sub Letting

Under no circumstances shall the premises be sub-let.


One set of keys per property will be provided to guests. Please advise a booking consultant in advance should you be requiring a late check in. The agency takes no responsibility for late arrivals without prior notice. There is a $50.00 call out fee for late arrivals, lockouts & lost keys plus cost for arrangements of a replacement set of keys will apply.

Return of Keys

Must be returned to office on the day of check-out between 9am-10am. A $50.00 late charge fee will apply and be charged to your credit card without further notice if they keys are not returned within this period of time.

Holiday Rental properties that are Listed for Sale

I/we agree to permit the agencies reps to carry out inspections with prospective purchasers upon 24 hours notice and at a time agreed between both parties.


All properties must be left in accordance with Holiday Rental CLEANING CHECKLIST provided with your welcome pack and checklist within the home.

Furniture and Fittings

Please do not change, move or rearrange the furniture within your holiday accommodation, please respect this is not only holiday accommodation by also the owners retreat. Any damages will result in bond compensations.

Telephone, Internet and TV reception

Telephone and internet access is not available in the holiday rental accommodation. Please note that the agency is not responsible for the quality of TV reception received in holiday rental properties.


  • All bookings are taken and deposit accepted subject to the owners approval on the above terms.
  • No responsibility is taken for any personal belongings left on the property
  • All bookings are accepted by the agent in good faith, but maybe subject to change. Every reasonable step will be made to offer alternative accommodation should this occur.
  • I/we hereby acknowledge and agree that the agents/owners shall not be held responsible or liable for any injury or loss suffered by the guest/occupants/or invitees of holiday rental accommodation caused by negligence on my /our or their part.
  • The agent or representatives will not be held responsible or liable for any deficiency in the holiday accommodation or its furniture/fittings.
  • The agent or representatives will not be held responsible for any noise/disturbances caused as a result of renovations/building/road works/ road blocks or power outages in or surrounding the holiday accommodation.

All Holiday Rental properties are Strictly No Smoking. If smoke is detected inside home - Smoking inside will make accommodation un-rentable for the following guests, and the costs to remove smoke from the carpet and furnishings is approximately $250. These costs will be added to your credit card without further notice.
